ABOUT
Backed by over 25 years of experience with machine quilting and alterations, expert quilter and seamstress, Brenda Bergdoll provides a variety of these custom services at Brenda’s Alterations and Machine Quilting LLC at 71 Main Street in Sturbridge MA.
Brenda’s interest in sewing started at a very early age with her Mother, Lynnette Desourdy, who not only taught her how to sew but also instilled in her the work ethic and drive that it takes to be successful at her craft. She went from making clothing for her Barbie's to making bridesmaid's gowns, groomsmen's vests and her own wedding gown that she designed on her own. Her natural gift and talent for sewing at this young age continued to develop over the years through self teaching and while working for Laurel Wilbur, formerly of The Fabric Stash, and Pamela Hinkley formerly of Custom Sewing in Ware, MA.
